A million dollar second prize lottery ticket was sold in New Jersey for Friday’s Mega Millions draw, officials said.
New Jersey lottery officials will reveal where the lucky ticket was purchased this week. It matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 17, 32, 40, 59, and 61. The Mega Ball shot was 18 with a mega-folder of 3X.
The jackpot for Tuesday’s next draw is estimated at $ 432 million with a cash option of $ 312.8 million.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s Powerball draw is worth $ 457 million with a cash option of $ 331.6 million.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington, DC and the US Virgin Islands. The draws take place twice a week.
