A person was shot dead Monday afternoon in one of the largest shopping centers in the country, which resulted in the closure of the mall in southern California and a massive police reaction while dozens of people were killed. # 39; fled.

Police believe that the attacker fled the impressive Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, south of Los Angeles. Officers found a gunshot inside the mall and do not believe that there are other victims.

The mall has more than 250 stores. A spokesman for the mall's owner, the Simon Property Group, did not comment immediately.
