Tonight is the first sold-out crowd without an opening day in T-Mobile Park history. Or, if you want to think of it less literally, in the history of the stadium now known as T-Mobile Park, the Mariners haven’t sold a home weekend since, well, we can at least assume. 2003.
Tonight is the Mariners’ first full house since opening day 2019.
Ticket data only goes back to 2006, and they haven’t had sellouts this late in the season since.
So, this is essentially homestand’s first final sale since 2001-02, when they sold out virtually nightly.

The city is alive with the hype, dyed northwest green in mind with a perfect, crisp fall day melting into a fall evening. Marco Gonzales is on the hill, one of three active Seattle Mariners who made the roster as early as 2017. He struggled at times in 2021, de facto ceding his top-arm status in the M’s rotation to Chris Flexen. But since returning from an IL stint, it looks like the former Gonzaga Bulldog is back on track. It must be, against an uneven formation of Angels which can nevertheless punish errors.
It looks like the M’s won’t get any help tonight from the Nationals or the Orioles. There is nothing more to say: just win.
Game Time: 7:10 p.m. PST
