It’s the end of the Devils preseason. After tonight, the last six games actually don’t make sense in terms of results. Performance will stay on the minds of the decision-makers – assuming they haven’t already done most before this game. Hopefully no one gets hurt tonight and the Devils get a feel for who’s on their active roster to start the season in eight nights on October 15.

The evening song: With the end of the preseason, I have finished using Ginger Root. At least for a while. I’ll end with a song that came out as a single about two years ago called “Weather”. This is my favorite Cameron Lew song; the video showcases his humor and versatility in the names; and it’s very eye-catching.
The rules: The rules remain the rules, even though this is the last exhibition game of this year for our favorite team.
