Water resistance tester
Android Police Coverage: The app claims to test your phone’s water resistance without diving
Water Resistance Tester is an app designed to help people determine if their device is still water resistant, or at least that’s what they claim. Reviews so far have been positive, with reports that removing the SIM tray triggers the app, along with cracked screens, as one would expect. It’s not clear exactly how this app works outside of the claim that it tests the pressure inside the device, and this app doesn’t offer any guarantees, so it’s not like you could use this version as irrefutable proof if your manufacturer refuses to honor your warranty. Still, people seem to love Water Resistance Tester, so at the very least it’s an interesting app to play with.

So if you enjoy creating notes using Markdown and are looking for a way to create a structured knowledge base with ease, Obsidian is a good choice. You can sync files with a built-in function, or you can choose to use your favorite cloud storage solution. Surprisingly, this app compares to the PC version, so if you’re already in the Obsidian ecosystem, you’ll want to adopt it.

AppDash: Tag, sorting and backup offers all kinds of details about your apps, should you ever need that information. You can also use this app to backup your apps as well as tag all your apps if you are the type who likes to categorize everything. Of course, like most backup apps, root is recommended so that you can perform full backups including OBBs. Keep in mind that this version is in Early Access, so expect some difficulty as things evolve.

Learn music theory with Sonid
Learn Music Theory with Sonid is a music education app designed to teach music theory through fun lessons. It is suitable for beginners, although it does contain ads unless you subscribe ($ 2.99 per month), and those ads can spoil a lesson because they can interrupt practice. Still, if you’re looking for an entry point to learn all about music theory, and if you’re ready to subscribe, there’s a lot to like about this beginner-friendly version.

Reason
Reason is a social podcast app, so this version is designed around user interaction, like chatting on podcasts. Ideally, this creates a space where it’s easy to find what you like since you can dive into a discussion of the podcasts that pique your interest. It’s Facebook for podcasts, so if that sounds good to you, download the setup below. At the very least, the app is completely free, so it won’t hurt to take a look at it if you’re curious.

Azuki
Azuki is a brand new manga app on the Play Store, but unlike most manga apps, all of the content it contains is fully licensed. This means that you will have to pay for it, which you will do through a subscription. MLB AR
MLB AR is from T-Mobile, and it’s an augmented reality app where you can watch the Home Run Derby 2019 via AR, allowing many different viewing angles. Why T-Mobile waited two years to release an app to watch a sporting event starting in 2019, I have no idea, but it’s still there, so if you’re interested in seeing the new angles from which you can see this event, now you can. At the very least, the app is free.

Specifically, this is the app for Logitech’s Mevo streaming cameras, so you can use this app to control these cameras while easily adjusting their settings, all from the comfort of your Android device. There’s even an audio mixer included, so you can adjust your sound on the fly, which can be really useful when streaming, especially if you live in a noisy environment.
