10 of the most anticipated TV shows to watch in 2021

We’re not sure whether we’re heading towards 2021, but the upcoming TV list gives us reason to be hopeful.

Despite the delays related to the pandemic, tons of shows are kicked off and coming back in the New Year, giving those of us who are still socially left behind with plenty to go. Indictment: American Crime Story, Tuca and Bertie Season 2, Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings series, HBO Max’s Gossip Girl restart, and many more exciting projects are in the works.

What do we know we’re going to be looking at ASAP? Here are our top 10 picks for the most anticipated TV shows in 2021. (Oh yeah, there’s Marvel here. A lot by Marvel.)

1. Mr. Mayor, NBC (January 7)

NBC’s beloved The right place finally crossed in 2020. Fortunately, a new comedy from Tina Fey and Robert Carlock should fill the hole of the size of Ted Danson that it left in our hearts. Mr. Mayor Puts Enon as Ned, a retired businessman who runs for mayor in Los Angeles on a whim – and wins. 2. WandaVision, Disney + (January 15)

2020 will be remembered for a lot of things, one of which is the first year without a new Marvel movie since 2008. Fortunately, the MCU picks up in January with WandaVision, the first of a multitude of new features on Disney +. 3. Equalizer, CBS (February 7)

Justice has a new face when Equalizer returns to television in 2021. This time, Queen Latifah will assume the role of retired secret agent who dedicates her life to solving the problems of others with Equalizer’s signature flair. And by flair, we mean “creative violence elevated to the rank of art”. 6. Love is blind Season 2, Netflix (TBA)

Not much happened in 2020 that we really want to repeat. But of course Netflix is ​​scandalous Love is blind should feel free to come back whenever he wants. America’s Worst Fictional Family appears to be set for a 2021 comeback. The Roys produced one hell of a cliffhanger with this double father-son crossover in the Season 2 finale, which aired on October 13, 2019 (c ‘ that is, there’s a lifetime.) But now that HBO’s satirical drama has resumed production, we can finally start to expect answers about the future Logan, Kendall, and all of Waystar’s perfectly fit employees. RoyCo. 9. Atlanta Season 3, FX (TBA)

Even later than Succession Season 3, The brilliant of Donald Glover Atlanta will make its triumphant return in 2021 after a hiatus of almost three years. In September, foreign exchange officials confirmed the Atlanta Seasons 3 and 4 would be filmed back to back at the start of this year, and this season 3 was scheduled to air in 2021. ten. Boba Fett’s book, Disney + (December)

The triumphant return of Boba Fett in The Mandalorian Season 2 was easily one of the coolest TV moments of 2020. Temuera Morrison’s laconic, stunning, and surprisingly funny version of the iconic bounty hunter seemed perfect for a solo series, and in the The Mandalorian final kept on that promise.
