The Atlanta Falcons need to fill both sides of the ball in the offseason, and that’s before any potential cap loss. One position where the team could use an infusion of depth and talent is that of the running back.
Ito Smith and Qadree Ollison will be back in 2021, but Todd Gurley and Brian Hill are unrestricted free agents. The draft is probably the best option for the Falcons to level up as a running back, but as general manager Terry Fontenot expressed when he was hired, the team will explore all avenues to find talent.
