You can swipe left on a tab in the tab browser or press the X button in the upper left corner of a tab. You can also long-press the Tab button while displaying a single tab to display a Close Tab button.

Build on search suggestions (beta)

This is a feature found in the latest iOS 12.2 beta, but it's so good that I thought it was worth it. This feature allows you to expand search suggestions in the Safari address bar without submitting the search. Google Chrome has had this feature for some time, but it will be available soon for all iOS users.
