A 12-year-old boy was charged with the murder of his 10-year-old brother and sister in Texas.
Responding to a 911 call, Montgomery County Sheriff MPs said they discovered the youngest boy, who was shot in the chest on Saturday afternoon.
The boy was transported to the hospital but died as a result of his injuries.
After investigation, the sheriff's office accused the deceased's older brother of murder and currently detains him in juvenile detention.
The sheriff's office did not reveal more details about the incident and it is unclear how the child took the gun.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the 10-year-old victim," wrote the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in his statement.
