Police are investigating a shooting that left several injured early Sunday in Saint-Paul.

Police are investigating a shooting that left 14 injured and one woman dead early Sunday morning in St. Paul.

Police said at around 12:15 a.m., officers responded to a shooting inside a bar in the 200 block of 7th Street West. Police believe there were several shooters and that there is no one in custody yet.

St. Paul Police spokesman Steve Linders called the scene “hell”, saying there were several people lying on the floor outside and inside the bar.

Several people were taken to hospital. Police say all victims are expected to recover from their injuries.

“My heart breaks for the woman who was killed, her loved ones and everyone who was at this bar this morning,” said Saint Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell. “In an instant, they found themselves caught in a hell of a situation. I want them to know that we have the best investigators in the country, and we won’t stop until we find those responsible for this madness. We will do our part to hold them accountable. ”
