180 new cases of COVID-19, one more death

(WSIL) – Southern Illinois Health Services reported 180 new cases of the virus and the death of a Williamson County man on Saturday.

Franklin County:

  • Women: two under 10, two in their thirties, two in their forties, four and one in their sixties.
  • Men: one in their twenties, five in their forties, three in their fifties, two in their sixties, one in their sixties, one in their eighties.

As of the date that there have been 2,070 laboratory-confirmed positives in Franklin County for COVID-19, including 25 deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,133 have recovered.

Gallatin County:

  • Woman: 1 in her 50s, 1 in her 60s

According to the Egyptian Department of Health, Gallatin County has a total of 215 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 positives, including two deaths.

Jackson County:

  • Woman: Four under ten, one preteen, two in their twenties, three in their thirties, two in their forties, four in their fifties, two in their sixties, two in their sixties, two in their nineties and one over 100 years old.
  • Male: one under ten, two teenagers, two in their twenties, one in their thirties, one in their forties, three in their fifties, four in their sixties and three in their sixties.

Health officials are currently monitoring 443 active cases. To date, Jackson County has recorded 2,679 cases, including 32 related deaths. To date, 2,204 people have been released from solitary confinement, including 28 on Saturday.

Randolph County:

  • 38 cases
  • Gender / age not listed

Randolph County has had 2,200 confirmed cases, including 27 residents who died. Health officials are currently monitoring 213 cases. So far 1,960 people have been released from solitary confinement.

County of Saline:

  • Female: one under 10, two teenage girls, two in their forties, two in their fifties, one in their sixties.
  • Male: three under 10, one teenager, one in his twenties, two in his thirties, two in his fifties.

To date, Saline County has had a total of 1,209 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths.

White County:

  • Woman: Four in their thirties, two in their forties, two in their fifties, three in their sixties, one in their sixties.
  • Male: one teenager, one in his thirties, one in his fifties, one in his sixties.

According to the Egyptian Department of Health, White County had a total of 656 laboratory-confirmed positives, including nine deaths.

Williamson County:

  • Women: one under 10, two teens, four in their twenties, seven in their thirties, three in their forties, two in their fifties, five in their sixties, three in their sixties and one in their 80s
  • Men: two in their twenties, two in their thirties, two in their forties, two in their fifties, two in their sixties, three in their sixties, one in their eighties and one in their nineties.

To date, there have been a total of 3,612 laboratory-confirmed positives in Williamson County.

Health officials report the death of another resident. The individual is a male in his 80s who has previously been confirmed to have contracted the disease.

His death marks the 77th for Williamson County.

Illinois Department of Public Health:

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 7,873 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease on Saturday, including 108 additional deaths.

Currently, the IDPH reports a total of 712,936 cases, including 12,137 deaths statewide.
