1,800 people in Roanoke without electricity Sunday morning

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – 1,800 Appalachian Power (AEP) customers in Roanoke go without power at 8:45 a.m. Sunday morning.

The blackouts are affecting people in and around the Wasena and Gainsboro neighborhoods.

AEP estimates that service interruptions will be fixed between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
