(BBC News) According to a health official, a patient died after developing a serious respiratory illness due to a vaping at the first death of this type in the United States.
Experts are investigating a mysterious lung disease across the United States, linked to the use of electronic cigarettes.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that there were 193 "potential cases" in 22 US states.
Many cases involve the vaping of THC, the main active compound of cannabis, said CDC experts.
