The claws were outside!

A brawl for the crab legs in an Alabama buffet was transformed into a wild brawl where hungry diners threw themselves with tongs and broke plates – and ended with two of the customers handcuffed crabby, according to a new report.

The tension in the Meteor Buffet restaurant in Huntsville rose on Friday when customers lined up for at least 10 minutes for the crab legs to touch the smorgasbord – before everyone else could serve themselves, the police said.

"They were waiting for the crab legs for 10 or 20 minutes. When they finally came out, it's very hot. Especially if someone takes more than his share, "told WHNT News Huntsville police officer, Gerald Johnson, who was eating out at the time of the conflict,

"There is a woman who beats a man. People are moving, the plates are breaking everywhere.

Johnson said the seafood-themed skirmish looked like a sword fight – while thirsty crustaceans fighters were turning service tongs into weapons.

"It's not something you usually hear, if you can imagine a fencing match," he told the local press.

The police arrested clients John Chapman and Chequita Jenkins, who had dinner at a joint $ 10.58 per plate with their children.

Chapman, who had a cut in the head in the fray, was charged with disorderly conduct, while Jenkins was charged with third-degree assault.
