Spoil alert! This story contains details of "The Masked Singer", season 1, episode 8, including the identity of the celebrity eliminated.

The semifinals of "The Masked Singer" have arrived!

For the first time in its history, Fox's successful show has revealed two celebrities during the episode of Wednesday, while the last five competitors – Peacock, Monster, Bee, Rabbit and Lion – are achieving their better performance.

Peacock began the series with a catchy rendition of Calvin Harris and "Let's Go" by Ne-Yo. Jenny McCarthy said that he "was going to come to the end". Robin Thicke agreed, adding that the masked singer "really made the crowd alive". Peacock revealed that he had sampled Thicke's "Scrambled Lines" on one of his albums, which led him to instantly guess "Weird Al" Yankovic. Peacock also hinted that he knew Nicole Scherzinger, who guessed Neil Patrick Harris.

"Deep down, who are you?" Facilitator Nick Cannon asked. The peacock replied, "I have dedicated my life to showing business."

The next step was Monster, which slowed down the process with Sam Smith's "Stay With Me". Her sobering voice made Scherzinger's eyes cry. "Your voice has just crossed your soul … it's one of my favorite memories of this show." His estimate: CeeLo Green. Thicke called the voice of the "Grammy Award-winning" masked singer, before guessing Darius Rucker, a former member of Hootie & the Blowfish. Ken Jeong thinks the monster is the "favorite" to win the competition. His intuition? Jamie Foxx.

As for Monster's hint about his identity: "I am a father, a husband, a son, a brother and more than anything else, I am a person."

Lion brought home with Stevie Wonder's "Do not worry about one thing". "It's somebody big, a big star who knows how to sing," McCarthy exclaimed. Lion said she was "independent" and "faithful", which prompted visiting judge Kenan Thompson to guess Kelly Rowland, a member of Destiny's Child. Thicke chose another member of the girls group, Michelle Williams.

Lion's Identity Index: "I am a lawyer, not a victim, even though I have been bullied."

Rabbit has made things change with a performance of "I Got Sunshine" Temptations. Before going on stage, Thompson had guessed Nick Lachey after the masked singer had dropped a reference to "sea chicken" from the reality show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica". McCarthy thinks it's her husband, Donnie Wahlberg, a member of New Kids on the Block, while Scherzinger thinks it's another boy singer: Joey Fatone of "N Sync."

Rabbit identity indication: "I've already worked on a suit in different places."

Bee created an unforgettable buzz with an interpretation of Aretha Franklin's "Natural Woman" after revealing that she had the "recipe for success". McCarthy said the singer is "a living legend". Thompson stated that he was "1,000%" and that he knew who the singer was. "Who in their minds does not know … Gladys Knight," he said, adding that she owned a restaurant. Thicke agreed, "I told each episode." Jeong thinks it could be Anita Baker, while Scherzinger guessed the singer and cookbook author Patti LaBelle.

Indication of the identity of the bee: "I am a human person."

In the end, Lion was sent first. The last guesses of the judges? McCarthy and Thompson chose Kelly Rowland, Scherzinger chose Hailee Steinfeld, Jeong thought Dawn Robinson of En Vogue and Thicke had chosen Michelle Williams.

When the mask comes off it's … Drum Roller please … Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. The actress revealed that she had signed for the show because "I wanted everyone to know that I can sing too". Jeong admitted that the judges were "far away".

But the panel is redeemed at the next revelation after the rabbit has been unmasked. For the latest hypotheses, McCarthy chose Wahlberg, Scherzinger and Thicke chose Fatone, Jeong chose his colleague Kevin Richardson, a member of N Sync, and Thompson guessed Lachey.

It turns out that Scherzinger and Thicke were right. The rabbit was Fatone.

"What am I doing here? … It's a crazy one," said Fatone after tearing up the rabbit mask. He admitted that the show and his camouflaged velvet suit had allowed him to overcome his claustrophobia.

Willis and Fatone join unmasked singers The Toya Jackson (Alien); talk show host Ricki Lake (Raven); actress Tori Spelling (Unicorn); actress Margaret Cho (Poodle); Terry Bradshaw (Deer), former NFL quarterback and Fox Sports commentator; comedian Tommy Chong (pineapple); and receiver Antonio Brown (Hippo) of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"The Masked Singer" will enter the finals next week, where Peacock, Monster and Bee will face for the coveted title.
