A month before the release of his new album Rap or go to the league, who arrived this morning, 2 Chainz announced that he would act on his Black Excellence project, similar to that of Jay-Z. 4:44 or Nipsey Hussle Victory tower. Throughout the month, he paid tribute to African-American leaders who are doing innovative things in their communities and who are not necessarily artists or athletes. Yesterday, to close the Black History Month, the rapper paid tribute to Jay-Z.

"I hope you enjoyed those #BlackNowStory I sent you," he wrote yesterday (February 28). "Go ahead and finish with Jay Z, the Brooklyn native who's been on the street, artist, entrepreneur, record maker, philanthropist, etc. Toni."

2 Chainz has always highly appreciated Jay-Z. During his interview with the Breakfast Club this morning, he revealed that he was trying to get a verse from Jay-Z for Rap or go to the league but the moment was ill chosen. "I would love to work with him, I tried to do it on this album and he may have told me the next album," he explained.

2 Chainz runs after a minute on a VMO device. He revealed in 2013 that he was trying to find a Jay-Z feature film for BOATS II: ME TIME but was discouraged by Kanye West who stressed the "me time".
