INDIO, Calif. (AP) – Southern California authorities have announced that two mobile shower blocks caught fire at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival on Saturday morning.
Cal Fire Riverside said in a tweet that one unit had been damaged and the other destroyed. No injuries have been reported.
#CampIncident [UPDATE] 02.28 – The fire is contained. Mobile shower unit in lot 8, storage area. Total of 2 trailers involved. 1 damaged, 1 destroyed. No reported cases of injuries among firefighters or civilians. Fire crews will remain on site for one hour for review. #Coachella

The fire was reported shortly after 2 am.
The popular six-day festival, spread over two weekends, kicked off Friday with performances by Childish Gambino, Janelle Monae and superstars pop-pop Blackpink.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
