The announcement of Dragon Ball Super has been very exciting for fans of the franchise; although they have obtained new Dragon Ball material in the form of Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, a brand new series means more Dragon Ball over a longer period. With these new episodes came some new ideas and modifications of the franchise. This is both because the series has not had new material for a long time and because it has reworked the intrigues of the films that preceded it.

Some examples of major changes to Dragon Ball Super include the fact that Goku seems much more silly than before, the fact that Vegeta still wants to outdo Goku despite the abandonment of this goal at the end of the saga. Buu and all the chano has been reconfigured since the last complete series of the franchise. Let's just say that Dragon Ball Super has introduced many changes in Dragon Ball, from the Golden Frieza saga to the Universal Survival saga, even through Dragon Ball Super Broly.

Some of these changes are due to the fact that Akira Toriyama had much less information about the series, while others result from the series combining more elements of the original Dragon Ball series with the action of DBZ. If you want to know all the crazy changes between Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, watch this video and tell us in the comments what changes you made and did not like.
