TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A 20-year-old man has died after a shooting at a building in southern Toledo, Toledo police say.

The victim, Daryl Foster, was residing in the Linda & Susan Arms Apartments where the shooting took place on Saturday night, detectives said. Officers found him suffering from at least one gunshot wound when they arrived at the scene shortly before 5 p.m. He was taken to Saint-Vincent hospital where he died, according to a press release released on Saturday evening.

Detectives took 21-year-old Kedontae Colter from the apartment to the Safety Building in downtown Toledo for questioning. He was then charged with murder.

Two men got into a fight when one drew a gun, police said at the scene. A bullet went through the window near the door of a nearby building, but it did not hit anyone, officers said. The apartments are located on South Byrne Road, just south of the airport motorway.
