Miranda Lambert recently announced a fall tour with stars, and at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards, she gave fans a taste of what was in store.
Lambert and his group of killers have followed one another throughout his career, playing a mega-mix of five of his greatest hits before the crowd gathered at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday night (April 7).
They started with "Kerosene", the title track of his first album in 2005. They then turned to "Gunpowder & Lead", the arrogant single of his second album. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The fiery "Mama & # 39; s Broken Heart" of her 2011 LP Four the Record, followed, and "White Liar" off 2009 Revolution came after that.
Eventually, the medley ended with a bit of "Little Red Wagon", one of his most delirious songs of 2014 Platinum. Lambert and his company played little more than a couplet and chorus of each – the perfect chord to make you want to dive into his vast collection of hits.
Lambert's catalog has earned her 32 wins over the years – the largest number in her history – as host Reba McEntire pointed out in her introduction.
She is ready for two trophies at this year 's ceremony: the female artist of the year and the musical event of the year for her collaboration with Jason Aldean "Drowns the Whiskey" .
