2019 WGC-Mexico Championship Ranking: Live coverage, golf results, Tiger Woods score for 1st round

[ad_1]

The WGC-Mexico 2019 Championship will kick off Thursday with some high-end groups and the best terrain of the year so far. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka present an exciting event in each of its two editions in Mexico. The first time in 2017 ended with a mini-shootout by Dustin Johnson-Tommy Fleetwood (won by D.J.). Last year, Thomas failed on the 72nd hole to qualify for the playoffs with Mickelson (defeated).

With terrain like this on a vulnerable course, there will surely be tons of fireworks and a cumulative ranking. The stories are not lacking either. With 46 of the top 50 players in the world and all those heading to a championship that will see the championship players and masters one after the other, golf should start heating right from the first WGC of the Calendar year.

CBS Sports will be with you all the way to update this story with the latest scores, scans and highlights from the WGC-Mexico Championship, especially while Woods is on the course. If you can not see the live updates below, please click here.

Thank you for being past.
