Last week, the Porsche Cayman GT4 was seen around the Nürburgring and made some nice noises. He also doubled the Green Hell for his test session and we could certainly see more skin than the previous shots.
These latest images of espionage show the Cayman GT4 ready to be used almost in production. The insignia of the Porsche is now visible at the rear, but the crescent at the level of the apon-plank is still absent. Nevertheless, these high-resolution photos will show you what Cayman 2020 looks like.

According to information currently available, the Cayman GT4 would be equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six developing 420 horsepower (313 kilowatts). This power will be transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, but a double-clutch gearbox would have joined the range by the end of 2020.
To get rid of about 50 kilograms, the new Cayman could have thinner glass materials and a more race-ready cabin. Weight loss would of course benefit cornering performance and faster acceleration times.
The new Cayman GT4 is expected to be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. We still do not know if a Boxster Spyder will join the hardcore sports car in its public debut, but you can count on Porsche to announce information as the date approaches.
For those looking for more, a 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport is also underway. With lighter materials like the natural fiber composite (flax and hemp based) for the doors and rear fenders, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport should deliver better performance even with the same 3.8L flatbed engine behind the cabin.
