  • Emily sonnett is set to make his second start in 2021 and earn him 50e global cap, joining Rose Lavelle – who also earns her 50e cap tonight – like 61st and 62nd players in USWNT history to reach 50 caps. Including that game against Brazil, Sonnett will now have played in nine of the last 12 games for the United States, making six starts in that span.

  • Defender and team captain Becky sauerbrunn will win him 181st cap and enters the game after playing 14,030 total minutes for the United States, passing Brandi Chastain for 12e in USWNT history with its 90-minute effort in the United States’ victory over Canada to open the SheBelieves Cup.

  • Abby dahlkemper gonna make him 58e start and 65e general appearance for the United States. Dahlkemper led the team in total minutes played in 2019 and 2020 and led all players on the pitch in total minutes played at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Dahlkemper played the full 90 minutes at each of his last nine appearances for the USWNT.

  • Dahlkemper and Sauerbrunn will start their 44e playing together in the middle of the American defense and playing in their 54e game together since Dahlkemper made his international debut in October 2016.

  • The only player to appear in all nine games in 2020, Crystal dunn is set to make his 109th appearance for the United States with today’s game against Brazil. Including that game, Dunn will now have played 13 straight games for the United States and 22 of the team’s last 24 games in total.

  • Julie ertz gonna make him 107e appearance for the United States and is the only player who has played every minute of all three games this year and leads the team with 270 minutes played in 2021. In fact, Ertz has played every minute in each of the last nine games in USA, the longest streak of her career at the USWNT.

  • Lindsey Horan will make his third start of 2021 and earn him 90e overall cap. Against Canada on February 18, Horan went 81 minutes and was one of the best players on the field while also collecting the assist on Rose Lavelle’s game-winning goal. This assist was the 29th of his career. She only has one pass left to become the 18th player in USWNT history to register 30 or more assists.

  • Horan has scored at least one goal or assist in eight of his last 11 appearances for the United States, with eight goals and four assists in that span.

  • Rose Lavelle will make his second start of 2021 and earn him 50e overall cap today – joining Emily Sonnett who will also reach the milestone today as 61st and 62nd players in USWNT history to achieve the mark. Lavelle sparked the United States off the bench when she came in the 64th minute against Canada on February 18 and scored the game winner in the 79th.e for her 14e international career goal.

  • Lavelle has accounted for two of four winning goals for the United States since resuming play in November 2020 and has four goals in his last 10 outings for the USWNT. Previously, Lavelle had scored four goals in his previous 21 appearances in the United States.

  • Lynn williams is about to win him 33rd cap and will make his fifth straight start for the United States, the longest streak of his international career. Williams – who joins Julie Ertz as the only player to start every game in 2021 – is second for the team in total minutes played this year with 248, already the third most minutes she has played in a calendar year for the United States.

  • Alex morgan will earn him 172nd cap today and makes her first start for the United States since the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup final against the Netherlands on July 7, 2019. For the USA training camp and game in November 2020 in the Netherlands, Morgan made her return to the roster for the first time since becoming a mom on May 7, 2020. She played the second. half against the Netherlands in what was their first USWNT game since the 2019 Women’s World Cup final, lasting 509 days. She missed training camp and January games as she recovered from illness.

  • Morgan is currently tied with Michelle Akers for fifth place on the United States’ all-time goals list with 107 international goals. His most recent goal for the United States came on July 2, 2019 in the World Cup semi-final against England, which was also Morgan’s 30.e birthday.

  • Christian Press will make his first departure of 2021 and earn him 141st overall cap for with the USWNT. Press was one of only two players to appear in all 24 WNT games in 2019 and played in all nine games in 2020 before missing the top two of 2021.

  • The press have been directly involved in 26 goals in their last 27 appearances for the United States, scoring 11 goals and assisting 15 others. She also served in the free kick that led to Rose Lavelle’s victory over Canada on February 18.

  • The 23 players from the SheBelieves Cup roster will dress for the match. The only uncapped player in the camp is the goalkeeper Casey Murphy, in midfield Jaelin Howell and forward Sophia smith are looking for their first gaming action of 2021.
