The silver car shown in the photo posted on Instagram features a revised front end and much larger side air intakes for its mid-engine than that of the Stingray.
The Z06 is expected to feature an engine inspired by the one used in the C8.R race car.

Technical details of the Z06 have not been revealed, but it is expected to be powered by a race-style flat-cranked V8, which can be heard in a previous post on social media.
Rumor has it that the engine will have a displacement of 5.5 liters, similar to that of the Corvette C8.R race car, and more than 600 horsepower.

The Corvette Z06 is expected to go on sale early next year, but the Corvette is currently sold out as production has been hampered by supply issues caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
