A young woman was seriously injured when she fell from a rooftop on Manhattan's rooftop while she was taking photos – just weeks after the death of a student from the United States. Fordham University who collapsed into a campus steeple while she was being shot.

The latest victim – identified by police as Reilly Hamilton, 22 – dropped five floors from her apartment on East 25th Street, near 3rd Avenue, around 8 pm Saturday, the cops said.

"She was taking pictures and she fell. Apparently, she hit the air conditioning unit and landed in the garbage area, which is horrible. Horrible. I am completely shocked, "said a 24-year-old neighbor in the building.

Another resident said that the girl had landed behind the building in a garbage area – and paramedics had to transport the victim, screaming in pain, into the neighbor's apartment to get her out.

"She was screaming. She was just like, "It hurts!" Said the neighbor, refusing to give a name. "She is lucky to be alive."
