More than 200 cases of measles have been reported in Brooklyn and Rockland counties, Orange and Monroe, according to the New York State Department of Health.
The worst epidemic the state has seen in decades has revived the debate about vaccinations.
In New York State, 96% of students were fully immunized for the 2017-2018 school year – the most recent year available.
Schools may grant exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
The New York State Department of Health discloses the percentage of students in each building vaccinated against measles. To protect privacy, the state does not disclose the actual number of students vaccinated.
