CLAREMONT, N.H. (AP) – A food company in New Hampshire recalls more than 2,600 pounds of ready-to-eat sausages that may contain metal.
The US Department of Agriculture announced Saturday's recall of North Country Smokehouse, Claremont.
He says that ready-to-eat kielbasa sausages were produced on 7 and 8 February.
The recall includes: vacuum packaging of a pound of "old Polish kielbasa" dated May 9; 12-ounce vacuum packaging containing "old-fashioned Polish-style natural kielbasa" dated April 23; and 1-pack vacuum packaging containing "Kilchurn Estate Smoked Kielbasa" and having an expiry date of May 9.
The recalled products bear the code "EST 5390A" inside the USDA inspection mark.
