NEW YORK (Reuters) – More than two dozen people were injured and at least ten were taken to hospital after a Turkish Airlines plane had been severely turbulent at the time of the attack. from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Saturday, officials said.

The New York fire department said it was treating 29 passengers for "non-fatal injuries" at the airport, after initially reporting the number on Twitter to 32.

Most of the injuries on board Turkish Airlines flight 001 from Istanbul were minor, said Steve Coleman, spokesman for the New York and New Jersey Port Authority, which operates the 39-hour service. JFK airport.
