VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – Three people had an altercation with a mad fox in the Bay Colony area of ​​Virginia Beach.

According to the city, the meeting took place on Saturday in the 100 block of Willow Drive.

Officials from the Virginia Department of Health said three people on a golf course had been attacked by the fox. The fox was euthanized and tested positive for rabies.

People will be well since they will have been taken to the emergency to start antirabies treatment. The treatment is 100% effective, said VHD officials.

If you think you have been exposed, seek immediate treatment because rabies is fatal if left untreated.
