MILWAUKEE – As fans celebrated the Bucks NBA Championship, several gunshots were heard near Water and Knapp Street.

TMJ4 reporter Ben Jordan was at the scene reporting live as gunshots rang out from a parking lot near this intersection.

One arrest was captured by our TMJ4 cameras.

Police said early Wednesday morning that three people were shot simultaneously in two separate shootings in the 200 block of N. Water Street.

A 22-year-old man was shot and killed near the intersection of N. Water Street and E. Knapp Street at 12:42 am He was taken to a local hospital and treated for his non-life threatening injuries. danger. Police say they have a suspect in custody, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting are being investigated.

At the same time, at the intersection of N. Water Street and E. Juneau Street, two people were shot dead. A 19-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were shot and sustained non-life threatening injuries. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police have a suspect in custody but are still looking for other subjects. The circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.
