Disney has released the official trailer for Aladdin's upcoming live-action version and it's a whole new world for fans of the animated version of the 1992 movie.
"Aladdin", directed by Guy Ritchie, stars Navid Negahban in the sultan's role, Frank Welker will take over Abu's voice, Jafar will be portrayed by Marwen Kenzari, Naomi Scott in Princess Jasmine and Mena Massoud in Aladdin.
A first look at Will Smith's character as a very blue Genie has caused mixed reactions, but scenes from the new trailer indicate that his appearance changes throughout the film.
It also seems that the film contains some of the iconic songs from the original film, such as "A Whole New World", which won the Grammy Award for the song of the year, the first Disney song to win this category. The song also won an Oscar.
"Aladdin" arrives in cinemas on May 24th.
