We do not know if Daenerys Targaryen will finally sit on the iron throne when Game of thrones is over, but the Houston Rockets are still here.
Actor Emilia Clarke, of Dany, attended Game 6 between the Rockets and the Golden State Warriors at the Toyota Center in Houston on Friday night. And with her backyard seating, she was one of the most visible celebrities in the house – perfect for a fun photo shoot.
That's exactly what happened at one point when Clutch the Rocket Bear, the mascot of the local team, went around taking a cup of coffee to go. You know, like the kind you'd have to, say, a Starbucks. (Clarke herself was obviously not in possession of coffee, despite what the Rockets tweet said.)
Let's take a minute to really enjoy the Chyron game from the Rockets Media Team. (A "chyron" is the legend that you often see used in information programs to identify people who speak.) In this case, Clarke's chyron presents that of fictional queen Targaryen. all parade of official titles.
Another queen was also present in the sixth match: Beyonce. The Houston native also took part in the match with seats at the back of the court while her husband Jay-Z was sitting next to her. The two queens had the expected appearances on social media, but none of the photos show them together in a strange (but quite welcome) royal gathering.
It was otherwise a hard night for the Rockets. The Warriors won the game 118-113, and the unexpected defeat of Houston – which had the favor of victory – officially ended the playoff team's efforts in 2019.
