& # 39; Game of Thrones & # 39; Season 8: Cersei's pregnancy could echo an evil S1 plot

[ad_1]

gsoul of thrones finished season 7 by revealing that Cersei Lannister was pregnant with Jaime's baby, but at the beginning of season 8, it seemed that the pregnancy might have failed (or been a lie). However, a little more research might reveal that Cersei still carries her brother's child and she has diabolical (and familiar) plans for the unborn prince.

Warning: if this theory is correct, then all that follows is a Game of thrones Spoiler season 8.

The big clue that most fans (including me) clung to was that Cersei had been drinking wine Game of thrones Season 8 Episode 1 after refusing a glass of Tyrion at the end of season 7. But as a lot of people have pointed out, the characters of Game of thrones probably not aware of the dangers of fetal alcohol syndrome. There is therefore no reason to believe that Cersei is still not pregnant with Jaime's baby.

What does it mean for Game of thrones Season 8? First, it suggests that if we sleep with Euron Greyjoy, Cersei could plot another devilish ploy that is very reminiscent of his power at the end of season 1. Assuming there is enough time for the queen to give birth (or even start to show), here's how the whole situation could be played out:

  • First, Cersei lies and tells everyone that her baby is Euron's (maybe they'll get married, maybe not)
  • Then she kills Euron (because of Cersei) and then uses her baby "Greyjoy" to keep control of the iron fleet.
  • Finally, she uses the fleet to regain control of the Iron Islands from Yara Greyjoy and hides in Pyke to avoid White Walkers.

If these first two points seem familiar, it's exactly what Cersei did to King Robert Baratheon. She called her babies Incest of Baratheon, arranged for Robert to die in a hunting accident, then placed his son Joffrey on the iron throne, though everyone secretly knew that he was not really a Baratheon.

It worked once, so why not try it again? Of course, we do not know if anyone will believe Cersei this time. The weather has changed and its reputation has definitely taken a hit. Again, with the gold army behind her, Cersei still has the manpower needed to enforce her will. All she needs now is control of the iron fleet.

Game of thrones Season 8 is broadcast Sunday at 9pm. on HBO.
