& # 39; Pokemon Go & # 39; add a surprise character for April Fool's Day

[ad_1]

Pokemon Go is having a surprise crossing with the Pokémon anime for the gag of the first of April. The players report that Ash Ketchum appears inside Pokemon Go by photobbing the players when they use their GO Snapshot function. GO Snapshot allows players to take pictures of Pokemon they captured in the real world using their phone's camera and the game's AR technology. While the GO Snapshot feature sometimes features a Smeargle photobomb, Ash Ketchum now appears in front of Pokemon, wearing his classic hat and his original Pokémon anime outfit.

Ash is not the only one Pokémon anime appearing in Pokemon Go. From time to time, Ash Hat Pikachu (a Pikachu wearing Ash's cap) will also be a photobomb player. Any Ash photobomb or Ash Hat Pikachu will reveal a Pikachu Ash Hat, giving players a chance to capture this limited-time costume Pokémon.

Ash is not going to appear in Pokemon Go until midnight local time, American and European players will not be able to see Ash until tomorrow. In order to find Ash, players simply have to use their GO snapshot to take some pictures of their Pokémon, then check the photos to see if Ash has photographed them.

It is not known how long the April Fool's Gag will last, but the Pokémon the anime in Japan hinted that reporting the next episode will mention the Pokemon Go tie in a certain way.

We will report more on this surprise Pokemon Go event that we learn more.
