"The Haunting of Hill House" will be back for a second season – but with a new title and a new format.
Netflix announced Tuesday the return of the show on the streaming platform. "The Haunting", as it has just been titled, will be released as a series of anthologies with the second chapter entitled "The Haunting of Bly Manor".
Executive Producers Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy signed a multi-year contract with Netflix, according to E! New.

The original "Hill House", published in 2018, was very popular on Netflix. This is a modern reinvention of Shirley Jackson's classic novel dating from 1959.

The new season of "Bly Manor" will feature new characters and a new story, and will be based on the 1898 Henry James horror novel dating from 1898, "The Turn of the Screw".
Netflix said the show will be premiered in 2020.
