The success of NBC rebounds in part compared to a low series of the previous week, while the sustainability of the holidays of CBS remains strong.
The autumn finale of That's us rebounded from last week's bottom of the series in Tuesday's odds, and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer is still a draw in his 54th year.
That's us helped NBC win a total win for the night. The show earned a score of 2.0 among adults aged 18 to 49, up from 1.8 last week, and recorded a record five episodes with 8.91 million viewers . The voice reached 1.5 in the demo and had its largest total audience (9.45 million) Tuesday since the first week. New Amsterdam was stable among adults aged 18 to 49 at 1.1 and also improved among viewers with 6.29 million.
Rudolph delivered 8.14 million viewers for CBS, up slightly from 8.07 million in 2017. Its demo rating of 1.7 was the second best result of the evening, though it is slightly lower to that of 1.9 last year. Repeats of NCIS and FBI followed.
ABC Blackish (0.9), Split together (0.7) and The recruit (0.8) all improved slightly week after week during the demo of 18-49 year olds. The conners (1.4) and The children are well (0.9) Both remained stable in the demo and peaked in four weeks among the total number of viewers.
The talented (0.6) and Deadly weapon (0.7) were both about average for Fox. The flash (0.6) and Black Lightning (0.3) remained stable on the CW.
The NBC score of 1.6 in adults aged 18 to 49 comfortably led the ranking in prime time. CBS (1.0) narrowly beat ABC (0.9) for second place. Fox averaged 0.7 and the CW 0.5.
