4 requirements for the next director general of the Jets

[ad_1]

After firing Mike Maccagnan more than a week ago, the Jets are at the beginning of their search for a general manager.

Although Adam Gase is the GM on an interim basis, he will not ultimately be in charge of the list of 53 men. However, he will help Christopher Johnson to do the research.

The Jets do not use an outside company, the search is done internally. Although the decision ultimately belongs to Johnson, Gase was categorical: the next general manager will not be a "yes-man" for him. Other than that, little has been revealed about what the Jets are looking for.

We have some ideas, though. With this in mind, let's look at four conditions that should be met for the next GM in New York.
