49ers vs Seahawks second half: offense wasted an excellent defensive half

It looked like the 49ers’ offense was going to have a great day with the way they started the game – effective training from Jimmy Garoppolo where he was 6 for 6. Since then Garoppolo has finished the half 7 for 17, including an interception. The throws were stray, although the pass protection was there.

Here are the offensive possessions during the first half:

Defensively, anyone who thought Seattle would score one in six possessions would take those chances every day of the week. San Francisco put on a masterful performance in the first five discs before DK Metcalf found the end zone on the sixth disc.

I couldn’t stand Kyle Shanahan’s trap game. The offensive was rolling, and it got them out of sync. Seven points in one half when the 49ers were dominated, it’s disappointing.

What do we need to see in the second half for the 49ers to emerge victorious?
