There are approximately 4,000 different items in a single Costco warehouse. While this is considerably less products than a regular grocery store (around 30,000), it is still impossible to remember all of them, especially when some sections like the bakery are a revolving door of items.
Still, ask any Costco member what their favorite foods are at the warehouse and they’ll get an answer right away. In fact, ask them about the items they are missing and they will give you a long list.
This is exactly what happened recently when Reddit user @MillenniumGreed asked the question: What Costco items do you “miss the most?” Over 100 people responded, and here are some of the most popular responses.

Part of the appeal of being a Costco member is having the ability to purchase your favorite goodies in bulk. it’s going to be a while before running out. Reddit user @ Fullyloaded707 really missed the 5-pound bag of gummy bears, and others agreed by “voting for” their comment. The only type of candy Costco currently has on its website are vitamins – a 300 bottle, to be exact.

More than 10 people agreed with one user who said sourdough bread was the item they missed the most. Others have said that there is a popular take-out option available at some warehouses, if that’s okay with you. But who else is tired of baking bread after last year?
The food court is a much-loved perk among members, so it’s understandable that so many were disappointed when Costco took away the Polish dog in the summer of 2018, according to Mashed. Obviously, there is still a heartache there. User @Gbcue said it’s the item he misses the most, and over a dozen people agreed.
Another favorite of the Costco food court abandoned last year amid the pandemic? Soaked ice cream bars. Reddit user @Zphr said this was the item they missed the most, and nearly 50 people agreed with them. More than 1,200 people have signed a petition on change.org to bring them back.

There are quite a few members who won’t consider things at Costco to be “back to normal” until the pizza combo with pepperoni, sausage and veg comes back to the food court. It was one of the foods that launched around March 2020 along with other beloved menu items like the acai bowl, baked chicken, churros, and the hot turkey and provolone sandwich.
While some of them are back and even better than before, the pizza combo is not. Over 60 people have voted for @ Chicagoan81’s comment on the missing menu item. But they’re not the only ones to be disappointed – there’s also this change.org petition to bring it back. To date, more than 4,000 people have signed it.
