Two people were shot and killed and three others injured when gunfire erupted at a party in Brooklyn early Sunday – part of another bloody weekend in the Big Apple.

A 51-year-old man who was also shot inside the car was shot in the back, chest and arm, and was listed in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital.

Another man, 37, was listed in stable condition at Montefiore Hospital in New Rochelle with a shoulder injury after being taken there before cops arrived at the scene.

Up to 150 people were celebrating at the site, called Brooklyn Garden, when the bullets started flying, police said in a Sunday afternoon briefing.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that there had been a verbal argument inside 101 Wortman Avenue when an unknown man raised a gun and started shooting,” the NYPD deputy chief said. , Judith Harrison.

“He shot two people inside this place,” Harrison said. “At the corner of Georgia Avenue and Wortman Avenue, there were also three men who were sitting inside a gray Infiniti sedan.”

Deputy Chief John Chell said the car “looks like it was in a motor vehicle crash”, although it is not known when.

Police said no arrests had been made.

The deadly shot came after at least 10 people were gunned down in the Big Apple on Saturday, including a 15-year-old boy clinging to life after being shot multiple times in Inwood and a 19-year-old woman shot dead in eastern New York, police said.
