5 features we need (and 5 that we do not want to see)

[ad_1]

Grand Theft Auto has always been a flagship franchise of video games. After all, he is the grandfather of all open world 3D games; no other developer has tried such a bold move before GTA 3 came with. As such, each new version of GTA It was enough for him simply to multiply his predecessors by introducing new features and leaving aside the old ones that retain its full potential.

Some of these features (whether they are good or bad) have been an essential part of the franchise. Other, however, are newly introduced but appear to be half-cooked or stuck. Fans know what they want in a Grand Theft Auto game: we play GTA for 22 years now. Our usual expectations are that developers introduce new or new features while removing others that drive the game. Here are some things we would really like to see in the new games (and others we would be happy to to see the truth).

ten NEED: More interactive buildings

The trope of big city is a proven formula. However, this is quickly becoming a problem in video games. Often, the buildings are just for the show and most of them can not even interact. GTA V is guilty of this, which can be quite disappointing. In fact, even GTA San Andreas as of 2004 there were more interactive buildings that you could enter than GTA V.

As such, we hope to see a more lively city GTA VI (especially with the help of better game equipment in the future). This makes the city less artificial, and also introduces the vertical course (which does not involve vehicles) into an open world game.

9 YOU DO NOT WANT: the "map filling" areas

In GTA Vit is not just the buildings that serve as filling material to give the city a larger appearance than it really is. Mountains, hills and deserts are also used to inflate the map, to suggest that there were more areas in which to play. The worst thing is that they are mostly empty and devoid of secrets or Easter eggs, making exploration totally useless. .

We would prefer that they remove such a facade and make most areas of the game more interesting, even if it involves a smaller map. As long as you always find something to do when you get to sites (other than taking selfies in the game), that's an improvement.

8 NEED: Cameos of rebound character

Of course, GTAThe map and the city are only part of the experience. Characters are another important part of the game, adding flavor and color to the open world formula. More than that, they are the reason to finish the story.

Fortunately, the previous GTA the titles have interesting characters shoveled, expressed by exceptional actors to start. We simply hope that they will bring some back, either as tribute or intrigue. Some of them are downright irreplaceable and so well written that they deserve to be featured in future titles. In addition, bringing back old characters is a long-time job. GTA tradition.

7 DO NOT WANT: Terrible A.I.

Wreak havoc GTA The games are pretty easy, and you do not even have to use cheat codes sometimes. Simply enjoying AI. of the game is enough.

Unfortunately, such a bad A.I also affects your companions and friends in the game, which can be problematic in the middle of missions. Who could forget the famous train mission inducing rabies GTA San Andreas? This mission could have been easier to handle if only the A.I was more polite. Even in GTA Vwe are still plagued by an I.I. just as poor, which has not improved much compared to previous titles.

6 NEED: Stealth missions (well done) and stealth

All right, this feature we hope to see will only be possible if the A.I file has been improved immensely GTA VI. Stealth missions are completely lacking GTA V, which is weird because GTA San Andreas (which is also located in Los Santos) has given you many opportunities to use its stealth mechanics, both simple and functional. Fundamentally, GTA V had a bit of a downgrade of gameplay.

"Stealth" badly implemented in GTA V and the lack of stealth missions make the progression of the story quite monotonous. Therefore, adding more variety to mission types by introducing better stealth mechanisms is one of the few ways to increase GTA game replay value. Apart from this, they offer a much needed break from the usual running missions.

5 DO NOT WANT: Mundane Minigames

Cycling, yoga, tennis, stock market investing and golf are the most prominent mini-games in GTA V. Why? Just why? In the game, why do yoga in a game when it's something you should do in real life? Outside of golf, most mini-games in GTA V are just not imaginative; These are usually the activities you avoid in real life, and now you have to do them in a game?

In comparison, some of the older GTA titles had better mini-games, like the lowrider challenge in GTA San Andreas or even the self-defense, ambulance or firefighter missions present before 2005 GTA titles (but somehow absent in GTA V). Hope we get something better in GTA VI.

4 NEED: Male and female protagonists

The main thing that GTA V did differently from other games (apart from the multiplayer) is to present three protagonists. This led to a cooler narration (though not necessarily a better story), but some people felt that three could be too much. Two would have easily done the job, and why not make it a male and female protagonist that we can choose?

It could be similar to Assassin's Creed: Odysseyof approach, but each character could have his own path or a separate story instead of following the same. They can even make it an infiltration drama between buddies, similar to Point Break (but with a Keanu woman instead). Or maybe Out of sight, featuring J.Lo as a policeman and George Clooney as a bank robber. The possibilities are unlimited, as is the replay value.

3 DO NOT WANT: A contemporary frame

One of the biggest problems with GTA V did he feel a little soulless, lacking that charm that the other breath of the past GTA games had. Of course, our current modern culture is probably to blame for that, because that's what GTA V was inspired by. So, no doubt, contemporary GTA the settings are not that interesting – we're already living in the modern era (and we're probably fed up too).

Rockstar Games might want to take a look at the colorful past for some inspirations or ideas for the next GTA. After all, nostalgia can be powerful. Just think of the brilliant soundtrack that the game could have.

2 NEED: A return to Vice City?

Now, here's a fun fact: Vice City is the only one GTA local left that has not been redone to the standards of the current generation. We already have both Liberty City and Los Santos. The next logical step for Rockstar Games would be (probably, hopefully maybe): Vice City, the heavenly imitation of Miami.

Since Vice City is technically located somewhere in the fictional equivalent of Florida, it would also be a great setting for some absurd missions and some mini-games. Other than that, revisiting the most unreal era of modern history, the 1980s, is inevitably a treat.

1 DO NOT WANT: shark cards

One of GTA VThe best thing about this movie was its online feature, which propelled players into a chaotic, free city for everyone for the first time in the series. Nevertheless, he came up with a somewhat insulting warning: Heavily monetized Rockstar GTA Online, GTA V online component. The result of such a monetization scheme? Shark cards for GTA Online, essentially microtransactions.

These cards are expensive boosters in the game (paid with real money) that give your characters a significant advantage over other players. You basically pay to skip some parts of the game. In a free game, it would have been much more acceptable. however, GTA V is a full price game. Hope Rockstar offers a better or less aggressive system for the future GTA securities.
