The Los Angeles Rams knew they should fire some very talented players and, according to the waiver statements Sunday, it was true. The teams were very interested in the guys that the Rams decided to release, many of them being claimed without waiver.
We will follow all the former Rams who have landed with other teams here. As of now, five players have been claimed on the waiver line.
Not surprisingly, these decisions were difficult to make in Los Angeles, including two surprise cups: John Franklin-Myers and KhaDarel Hodge.
Following the claim of these five players on waivers, they will obviously not be part of the Rams practice team. Peterson, Hodge, Parker and Franklin-Myers certainly seemed to be the players the team wanted to keep around him.
With so many former Rams claimed by other teams, it shows the depth and talent of Los Angeles in its 90-player lineup. Good teams are forced to cut the right players, which was exactly the case for the Rams.
Los Angeles may begin to gather his initial training group on Sunday. The limit for the training team is 10 eligible players. For more information, check out our guide here.
