If you watched pay-per-view television at the elimination session, you knew there was a magical moment towards the end of the night when there were only two men left. Kofi Kingston, who had just landed a few days earlier, was battling WWE Champion Daniel Bryan inside the dreaded steel structure for all the balls and fame.
No change of title took place on pay-per-view television, much to the dismay of the WWE Universe. Another match was made on SmackDown Live after Kofi Kingston pinned the WWE Champion. Bryan and Kingston would then meet at WWE Fastlane.
I think the result will be pretty much the same when the two men face each other again. Let me note why Daniel Bryan will remain WWE Champion until WrestleMania in this article.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Rumor has it that Bryan will face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania
Bleacher Report posted a spoiler on WrestleMania 35 not long ago, where they mentioned that Daniel Bryan's opponent will be WrestleMania, Kevin Owens. Now, WWE could still make this match without the WWE Championship in play, if a title change was to take place at the WWE Fastlane. However, as a WWE fan, I do not see it as an important program without gold in my pocket.
We have seen vignettes showing Kevin Owens returning to action for quite some time now. He plays bowling and eats popcorn, which is in direct contrast to the lifestyle preached by Daniel Bryan. This could allow Kevin Owens to return to the babyface and participate in the coveted WWE Championship.
Even though I love Kofi Kingston, it 's only a bigger match. And I feel that WWE has the same feelings as me.
