2. Isaiah McKenzie wins the battle of the fierce catcher
It was mainly a three-horse race for the sixth and final receiver position of the Buffalo Roster. Ray-Ray McCloud, Isaiah McKenzie and Duke Williams competed for what was seen as the sixth and final receiver role as the pre-season calmed down.
Although McCloud and Williams each made compelling arguments, McKenzie was ultimately the preferred option.
McKenzie showed his ability to play big and run after the attacks as he led the team by receiving 33 yards per game in pre-season. He also had a touchdown on a sweeping throw in the pre-season game against Detroit.
Buffalo has chosen to carry six receivers in its lineup, which includes 2018 Pro Bowl Returning Officer Andre Roberts.
