More than 250,000 people attended four Mobile Mardi Gras parades this weekend.
The Mobile Police Department reported one arrest and three minor offenses during the Friday and Saturday events. In total, about 70 complaints were lodged with the police service, according to the forces of the order.
About 50 vehicles were towed.

"On Saturday, February 16, 2019, 101,379 people participated in the Pharaohs & Conde Explores show. The mobile police responded to 32 complaints. 1 lost child, 1 child located. There were 8 traffic quotes, there were 57 parking quotes issued. MPD has arrested 1 crime, adult. There were 6 citations issued for the barricade jump, there were 2 strong citations issued. There were 10 vehicles towed. "
"On Saturday, February 16, 2019, the number of participants at the Bayport Parading Society rose to 42,240. The mobile police responded to 10 complaints. 55 parking quotes were issued. There were 25 towed vehicles. No quote was issued for jumping barricades. "
"On Friday, February 15, 2019, the number of participants in the Condi Cavaliers parade was 109,827. The mobile police responded to 29 complaints. 1 lost child, 1 localized child, wrote 4 traffic quotes, 58 parking quotes. MPD has made 3 arrests for minor offenses, all adults. There were 18 vehicles towed.
