A man died Thursday during a visit to the Grand Canyon after falling from an edge of the canyon in the national park, officials said.
The visitor, only 67 years old, was near the South Rim in the Grand Canyon Village, the National Parks Service announced in a press release.

A rescue team and a helicopter found the body of the man, which was discovered about 400 feet under the rim.
The Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating.

The death occurs after the deaths of two people at the Grand Canyon in March, as a result of separate incidents – one of them involving a man stumbling on the edge while trying to take steps. pictures.
