Many fans have criticized Clegg for this quick turnaround, with the feeling that she has a hang-up for Korean men – something she vehemently denied.
Fans quickly learned that Park was a pretty busy guy. As Clegg said, he “lives together”. He works as an actor, model and musician and has a degree in theater.
Park made it clear to Clegg that he had no interest in working with TLC on 90 day fiancé, but as fans know, that could always change.
Clegg introduced Park to his kids fairly quickly and has since started uploading videos to his YouTube channel, FamilyVanny, which include dates with Park and time spent with Park and his kids.
Some fans felt that this progression might be a little too fast. This would essentially be Drascilla’s second or third father figure, depending on the lifespan of her biological father in the photo, and now Taeyang is being raised with Topher Park in place of Jihoon Lee.
Deavan Clegg made questionable comments about Taeyang
Despite the criticisms and judgments of some 90 day fiancé fans, Deavan Clegg claimed that she was not a Korean fetishist. During an appearance on the podcast Great mood, Clegg claimed that the show was edited to suggest that Clegg was what she called a “Koreaboo.”
“With me, I just feel like the way my story was described was like I didn’t know Korean culture, like I was fetishizing – I can’t say that word – like Korean men are a fetish for me. Like this weird thing, ”she explained.
However, Clegg bothered fans when she wanted to complain about her baby Taeyang not looking Asian enough.
“Dude, I know he’s really white, like what the hell. I fucked myself up. Dude, he’s so white! she exclaimed.
“Dude, I know I was like, I’m so excited I’m looking at all these cute Korean babies. Then I get a blonde! I get a blonde Asian! No, that’s good, it will bring me a lot of money in the future, ”she added.

Deavan Clegg’s comments about his child who didn’t look Asian enough was a major wake-up call for many 90 day fiancé Fans. So when Clegg posted a new banner layout for his YouTube page, fans quickly noticed that his family artwork didn’t look like him or his family. Some fans felt that Clegg had essentially “washed Asia” his family by changing the color and appearance of Drascilla’s hair for the picture, as well as his own.
