(NBC) – A former 911 dispatcher in Arkansas reportedly mocked a woman for driving in floodwaters before drowning.
Police said Donna Reneau was working on August 24 when Debra Stevens, 47, asked for help. Stevens had entered a parking lot to try to avoid the floods. On the recording, one can hear Reneau insult Stevens before his death.
According to the authorities, Reneau is no longer employed by the Fort Smith police and no action will be taken against her.
