Disney has finally announced more details for its streaming service, Disney Plus, on Thursday. While Disney's moving picture library will already be complete (and, hopefully, some of its wacky sequels), Disney is gearing up for exclusive, original streaming content and taking full advantage of its third-party properties. Disney is looking to expand the Marvel film universe with Disney Plus titles. In particular, the popular characters who do – and probably habit – having their own standalone movies will get Disney Plus shows. These broadcasts will be of high quality and will be the subject of a complex implication in the Marvel film universe.
"A publication-End of Game MCU will be extremely different and will focus its efforts on integrating Disney Plus into our future films, "said Kevin Feige, president of Marvel.
Here are the shows announced by Disney Plus Marvel:
WandaVision
As the title indicates, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) will feature on this show, and their relationship would be one of the highlights of the evening.Avengers: war in the infinite – unless these two heroes are resurrected.
The hawk and winter soldier
Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson team up. Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie have long discussed a possible partnership between two of Captain America's closest allies. At the end of Avengers: war in the infiniteThanos took both photos, so maybe this is a precedent – or they could both come back.
Loki
Tom Hiddleston takes over the role of Loki for this miniseries. Marvel fans love Hiddleston's vision of the trickster god. Considering his very small share in Avengers: war in the infiniteit makes sense that they want more. He will plunge into his past – and perhaps his future.
And what would happen if?
Based on the Marvel comic book series of the same name, the animated series will examine wacky alternative timelines based on "What if?" Questions. The first episode will ask the question, "What if Peggy Carter becomes a super soldier?"
In addition, some Marvel films will be available on the platform. Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Iron Man 3, Thor: Dark World, Black Panther, Ant-Man and Wasp, and Thor: Ragnarok will be available at launch. Two docuseries called Marvel 616 and Marvel Hero Project are also in the works.
