Al Capone's American Side Gangster Family House South Side Park Manor sold

CHICAGO – Two apartments in Chicago's South End, belonging to the infamous American gangster Al Capone, were sold for $ 226,000.

Built in 1905, the six-bedroom, two-bathroom, 2,820-square-foot building is located on South Prairie, in the Park Manor neighborhood, on the market for years.

The buyer has not been identified.
The Capone family owned the building until the death of his mother Teresa in the 1950s.

Capone, also known as Scarface, gained notoriety at the time of Prohibition as co-founder and boss of the American Mafia's organized crime gang, Chicago Outfit.
